The World Waste to Energy & Resources Summit 2017 was a huge success, with 200 waste industry leaders taking part in roundtable discussion groups taking place on both days of the summit. On the first day each group focused on a particular topic of strategic importance to the industry. On the second day, each mapped out the critical success factors for developing and implementing waste-to-energy.
During the two-day event, delegates compared past experiences and brainstormed ideas around the five most critical success factors for projects going forward: incentives, finance, feedstocks, technology and outputs. With 40% of attendees coming from overseas markets, the findings represent a truly global vision for the future of advanced conversion technologies (ACT) and waste-to-energy projects worldwide.
Launched in London in the Spring of 2012, the World Waste to Energy and Resources Summit series has established itself as a meeting place for international waste management CEOs, developers, bankers, private equity financiers, technology providers and industrial end users.
