For ten years, the International Refining and Petrochemical Conference (IRPC) has been the leading technology event. This year IRPC European, organized by the specialized newspaper Hydrocarbon Processing and now a global reference point for the downstream industry, will take place in Milan, Italy. The appointment for the event is in fact already scheduled on June 5-7 in the Lombard capital, where managers and technicians of the main operators in the sector will meet, to discuss the most topical issues and establish new business relationships.
The conference, which will take place over two days, in parallel with the preparation of an exhibition space, will offer participants a series of high-level technical forums during which the main players in the petrochemical and refining industry will exchange experiences and skills.
IRPC is an ideal venue for HPI professionals to network with their peers. Half of 2017 attendees were from operating and engineering firms, and 94% of past attendees rated the conference high for making valuable networking connections.
Keynote speakers include: Alan Gelder, Vice President Refining, Chemicals & Oil Markets at Wood Mackenzie; Giacomo Rispoli, Executive Vice President of Portfolio Management at Eni; Cuneyt Kazokoglu, Heads of Oil Demands Forecastings and Long-term Service at Facts Global Energy; Stephan Marcos Jones, Director General at UK Petroleum Industry Association (UKPIA); Dorothee Arns, Executive Director Petrolchemicals and Plastics at European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) and Duncan Seddon, President and CEO at Duncan Seddon and Associates.
